Queenstown Country Club
About the Project
Delivered as Project Architect at Warren and Mahoney, this project formed part of the wider Queenstown Country Club development, encompassing +250 villas, a commercial precinct, and a central clubhouse. The role extended beyond individual buildings to include input into the overall master-planning and village layout, helping to shape a cohesive and legible residential environment.
A series of villa typologies were developed to provide variety within a consistent architectural template. The design draws on local rural forms, reinterpreted through simple, gable forms and a restrained material palette. Careful control of scale, repetition, and variation allowed the development to maintain a strong visual identity while avoiding uniformity across the large number of dwellings.
The result is a well-resolved, large-scale residential community that balances architectural clarity with liveability.
