I am a Registered Architect based in Queenstown, New Zealand, and I have been fortunate to call this place home—both personally and professionally—for over two decades.
Between 2010 and 2024 I worked as an Associate at Warren and Mahoney’s Queenstown studio, leading a range of residential, lifestyle, and commercial projects. Highlights include the Queenstown Country Club, the refurbishment of Cardrona Alpine Resort, several commercial developments in the town centre and bespoke architectural residences. My work spans from large-scale master planning to finely tuned architectural detailing—but at its heart, it’s always about creating spaces that are grounded, thoughtful, and enduring.
I have a particular interest in contemporary residential architecture—homes that respond meaningfully to their environment, that feel both timeless and tailored to the people who live in them. I believe the best design comes from listening: to the site, to the Client, to how we experience space. I aim to design buildings that sit lightly in the landscape but leave a lasting impression through quality, clarity, and craft.
I am especially interested in creating warm, comfortable homes that support real lives - spaces that invite you in, offer shelter, and function in their environment year-round. A home should be a place that enhances daily living.
In 2025 I set up Taverner Architects and I am available to undertake design and documentation for both commercial and residential new builds, as well as renovations and alterations, across Queenstown, the wider Lakes District, and beyond. Whether you are planning a high-country retreat, an urban infill, or something in between, I bring a hands-on, collaborative approach from concept through to completion.
If you’re looking for an Architect who brings both experience and attention to detail to the table — someone who understands the local context and values design that is both beautiful and buildable — I would love to hear from you.
